Choosing A Series
All of our shoes are designed specifically for pickleball. We have focused on creating a stable playing platform to address the safety, comfort, and performance needs of pickleball players as they move around the court. All of our shoes feature a sculpted heel design, wide toe-box, and breathable, aerated midsoles and insoles. The insoles are removable and can be replaced with custom orthotics, and we offer two different outsole options specialized for different playing surfaces.
INDOOR
Our indoor shoes are designed with a wave pattern on the outsole to increase performance and are non-marking. The outsole is designed with a softer rubber compound to provide traction and grip on smooth and slippery indoor surfaces, including wood parquet gymnasium floors, tiled floors, and smooth concrete floors used in indoor arenas. However, they aren't recommended for outdoor silica grit treated surfaces because it is similar to playing on sandpaper and will wear down outsoles quickly. Therefore, it is recommended to own both indoor and outdoor shoes.
MULTI-SURFACE
Our high-durability construction and Vibram sole is designed specifically for multi-surfaces. Vibram is the world leader in rubber outsole manufacturing and they partner with premium brands as a component supplier. Vibram designs rubber compounds specific to footwear company needs. They have formulated an X Abrade compound specific to use on outdoor playing surfaces such as painted silica grit treated pickleball courts. We have collaborated with Vibram on our outsole design to ensure performance grip, stability, and durability.
DRIVE V, STRIKER PRO V, VOLLEY V & VELOCITY V (multi-surface)
All of our outdoor shoes offer the same comfort, durability, and breathability. The Striker Pro V series and Drive V series provide advanced players with a medial side Power Clip and an exterior Heel Counter for enhanced stability and support. The Power Clip is the name of the specialized rubber toe bumper that also moves up the medial side of the shoe. This adds support while stepping into your shot and gives "toe-draggers" more support at the toe and medial side of the shoe. The exterior heel counter combined with an additional eyelet for lacing provides optimal support and alignment for the foot and ankle. The only differences between the Drive V series and the Striker Pro V series are the patterns and colours.
The Volley V series doesn’t include the Power Clip or Heel Counter. It features a lacing pattern called a “U Throat,” which differs from the “blucher” lacing pattern on the Pro Striker V and Drive V series. The Volley V lacing pattern offers a tighter and more narrow fit.
The Velocity V series has the same features as the Drive V and Striker Pro V. However, the Velocity V has a seamless knitted upper which makes the shoe 20% lighter.
